An article of June 6 carried an erroneous headline.
The article was originally titled «Panel Suggests Allowing Priests of Eastern Catholic Churches of North America to Marry.»
In fact, as the first paragraph of the article explained, the panel recommended “lifting of the restrictions regarding the ordination of married men to the priesthood in the Eastern Catholic Churches of North America.”
Thus the recommendation regarded the ordination of men who are already married, not men who are already ordained marrying.
