Ahead of General Audience, Bishop Valentino di Cerbo of Alife-Caiazzo in Italy Accompanied Some 30 People to Meet Pope Francis

 Ahead of this week’s weekly General Audience, Feb. 22, Pope Francis met with a group of some 30 people who lost relatives in the July 1, 2016 terror attack in Dhaka Bangladesh, reported Vatican Radio.
The terror attack in the Bangladesh’s capital and most populous city took place on the Holey Artisan Bakery in the city’s diplomatic district, claiming the lives of 29 people, including nine Italians.
Bishop Valentino di Cerbo of Alife-Caiazzo in Italy had accompanied the group, which included Marco Tondat, Christian Rossi, Maria Riboli, Vincenzo D’Allestro, Claudio Cappelli, and Simona Monti.
“Pope Francis,» the wife of Vincenzo D’Allestro, Maria Gaudio, said, «thanked us for our witness of love and he said we were an example also for him.”
