The Holy Father appointed Rev. Nikolai Gennadevich Dubinin, OFM Conv., Member of the Order of Friars Minor Conventual, affiliated to the General Custody of St. Francis of Assisi in Russia and Guardian of the Convent of St. Anthony the Wonderworker, in St. Petersburg.

Curriculum vitae

HE Msgr. Nicolai Gennadevich Dubinin, OFM Conv., Was born on May 27, 1973, in Novoshakhtinsk, in the Rostov region (southern Russia).

He followed the priestly formation in the Institutes of the Order of Conventual Friars in Poland. He made his temporary profession on September 8, 1995, and his perpetual profession on October 3, 1998. He was ordained a priest on June 24, 2000.

In the years 2002-2005, he specialized in Liturgy at the Institute of Pastoral Liturgy Santa Giustina , in Padua.

Offices and positions held

From 2000 to 2005 he carried out pastoral activities in various parishes entrusted to the conventual Franciscans.

From 2005 to 2018 he was General Custos of the General Custody of Saint Francis of Assisi in Russia.

Since 2005 he is Director of the Franciscan Publishing House in Moscow.

Since 2006 he has been Professor of Liturgy and Homiletics in the Catholic Queen Mary Seminary of the Apostles in St. Petersburg and Secretary of the Commission for Liturgy at the Conference of Catholic Bishops in Russia.

From 2008 to 2013 he was Deputy Editor in Chief of the Russian Catholic Encyclopedia.

Since 2009 he has been President of the Russian Conference of Major Superiors (CORSUM).

Since 2015 he has been Dean of the Archdiocesan Commission for Catechesis and Liturgy.

He speaks Russian, Polish and Italian, and knows English and Belarusian.
