Eucharist Congress in Budapest Moved to 2021

The Eucharistic Congress planned for this September, will be postponed by one year.

In a statement this morning from Director of the Holy See Press Office, Matteo Bruni, he gave this update.

«Due to the current health situation and its consequences on the movement and gathering of faithful and pilgrims,» the statement began, «the Holy Father, together with the Pontifical Committee for International Eucharistic Congresses and with the Hungarian Episcopate, decided to postpone the 52nd
International Eucharistic Congress, scheduled in Budapest in September
2020, to September 2021.»
