Pope Francis’ Condolence Message to Flood Victims in Sardinia

The Supreme Pontiff learned with trepidation the news of the flood that has struck the land of Sardinia, causing floods, loss of life, injuries and considerable damage and discomfort to so many families. His Holiness wishes to have his affectionate word of comfort and encouragement reach all, assuring of a particular remembrance in prayer for all those who have lost their life and for all those tried by this grave calamity. The Holy Father hopes that solidarity will not be lacking and the necessary help to address this difficult moment and imparts from his heart a special apostolic blessing.
