The Holy Father has appointed the following as members of the Pontifical Commission for Latin America: Cardinal Álvaro Leonel Ramazzini Imeri, bishop of Huehuetenango, Guatemala; Cardinal Juan de la Caridad García Rodríguez, archbishop of San Cristóbal de La Habana, Cuba; and Bishop Paulo Cezar Costa of São Carlos, Brazil.
