Videoconference on Moral Theology Scheduled for Thursday

VATICAN CITY, FEB. 27, 2002 (Zenit.org).- Top Catholic theologians worldwide will participate in a videoconference Thursday on “Moral Theology from Vatican Council II until Today.”

Attendees will include Cardinal Darío Castrillón Hoyos, prefect of the Vatican Congregation for the Clergy, which convoked the videoconference; and Father Georges Cottier, Papal Household theologian.

Speakers will include professors Michael Hull from New York; Julian Porteous from Sydney, Australia; Silvio Cajiao from Bogota, Colombia; Alfonso Carrasco Rouco from Madrid, Spain; Stuart C. Bate from South Africa; Gregory Gaston from Manila, Philippines; and Louis Aldrich from Taiwan.

The videoconference begins at midday, Rome time. It may be followed on video or through the speakers´ texts at http://www.clerus.org.
