Missionary Father Pedro Marchetti, director of Caritas-Trujillo, was conferred the Honduran National Award for Defense of Human Rights. Father Marchetti has been responsible for work in the reconstruction of areas devastated by Hurricane Mitch. He has been in Central America for more than 20 years.
