BUENOS AIRES, MAR. 23, 2001 (Zenit.org).- Several Latin America countries will celebrate the Day of the Unborn this Sunday, feast of the Annunciation.

Argentina instituted the celebration at the civil level for the first time in 1998. Nicaragua and Costa Rica have followed suit. Other countries, including the Dominican Republic, Peru and Uruguay, will observe the day, although it is still not officially recognized.
