The June 17-20 conference aims to consider the pressures on OB/GYNs and specialists in training arising from the anti-life policies that now dominate obstetric practice. It will also examine the consequences arising from the serious decline of Catholic and pro-life OB/GYNs worldwide.

The World Federation of Catholic Medical Associations (FIAMC) and MaterCare International are organizing the event. The Pontifical Council for Pastoral Assistance to Health Care Workers is the sponsor.

Participants are urged to register early. Contact Isabelle Biondi, FIAMC, at Palazzo San Calisto, 00120 Vatican City. Mobile telephone: 03-387-034975. E-mail: gilflb@libero.it.
