ZURICH, Switzerland, JUNE 4, 2001 (Zenit.org).- A Dominican nun has won the Swiss bishops´ media award, in part because she always wears her habit when directing her television program.

Sister Ingrid Grave´s habit was critical to give the necessary religious and Christian character to the program «Starry Hours» («Sternstunden»), according to Auxiliary Bishop Peter Henrici of Chur, president of the bishops´ conference´s Media Commission, who conferred the award.

Sister Grave is the first woman to receive the award. She has directed the program since 1994, and also oversees the show «Word for Sunday» («Wort zum Sonntag»).
