The Pope won’t be able to attend the Jan. 22-26 event, but he is personally following the preparations. His delegate is Cardinal Alfonso López Trujillo, president of the Pontifical Council for the Family.
Last Sunday the Pope said the meeting in the Philippines «will serve to relaunch the Gospel of the family in the third millennium.»
The Vatican Web site has posted the «Topics for Reflection and Dialogue in Preparation for the 4th World Meeting of Families,» prepared by the pontifical council.
