Taizé Community Organizing Prayer Meetings Around Europe

ROME, JULY 15, 2003 (Zenit.org).- The ecumenical Community of Taizé is organizing prayer meetings for world peace, in several European cities, in addition to the large weekly meetings in its namesake home town in France.

In Rome, students have been meeting regularly on the second and fourth Sunday of every month in St. Maria in Capitelli church, near Piazza Venezia.

In Paris, prayer meetings are held every Monday at St. Germain des Pres church and every Saturday at 3 Place St. Germain des Pres.

In London, the prayer meetings are at St. James’, Piccadilly, every third Sunday of the month.
