Dear Father,
How I agree that reading about the synod on the Word of God, and especially your friendly reports, is making one feel like a «fly on the wall» at the synod.
It is helping me to understand more deeply that God is speaking to us — the Church, me as an individual — more in the daily Mass readings and the Divine Office. It also helps one to realize the unity of the Church, as the Bride of Christ.
I love your recording of the little incidents that show the princes of the Church, as human like the rest of us.
I was in Lourdes when the Pope was there four weeks ago and got a lovely photo of his Holiness, so reading about the Synod is extending the joy I experienced there.
