Thank you to Father Cantalamessa for this beautiful article. I so wholeheartedly concur with his comments about woman, but especially about being talent scouts and being able to help others develop their talents and charism.

Indeed today is a new day for woman and as «in the beginning» woman has the opportunity to love the Lord and therefore all others or the alternative.

Sadly as we purview the society we are seeing that it is the alternative she is choosing. We see woman not exhilarating in her «feminine genius» but indeed attempting to change and pervert her very design.
Today indeed is day of the woman but she has done little with «her day.» What she has done successfully is to radically attempt to change the very thing that makes her totally feminine. Her fertility. This magnificent attribute of woman (her area of cooperation with God) she has bartered for cheap pottage.

For woman to demand as her right the right to kill her own baby in the womb in order to be feel fully liberated is an abomination. For the woman to demand the right to a «dead baby,» when wanted as such, means a very corrupted feminine genius and beauty.

Indeed we are awaiting the age of woman, but the age of woman as designed by God, in the image of Miriam of Nazareth. A woman of honor and not the aberration which at the moment seems to be gaining ground.
