A response to: Cardinal Bertone’s «Confessions»
The 84-year-old priest who told the teenaged Tarcisio Bertone, «I have been a priest for 60 years and I have never regretted it» expressed my sentiments exactly. I have been a priest for 55 years. Though not all of them have been happy, I have never regretted my decision for priesthood: not one single day. If I were to die tonight, I would die a happy man.
