High School teacher, Mr. Clarke, is to be commended for his initiative introducing his students to Pope Bendict’s Encyclical “Caritas in Veritate”.

Nearly five years ago, my wife and I began broadcasting on the theme:

Love Letters of the Church: If we love the Church and if we love the Pope,
… we would make time to read their Love Letters!

During this time, most of the recent important Papal documents have been covered. None have been complicated. If any Catholic aspires to be educated in their faith, Papal documents would be a routine component of their reading.

This could be a vehicle to promote a new vigor and renewal in the Church, which would flow to society.

Canada has just hosted the G8/G20 Summits. I sent copies of Chapters of Caritas in Veritate to Prime Minister Harper suggesting the guidelines contained therein would form a good basis for Summit deliberations.
