The workshop, «Sharing Conservation: Several Approaches to the Conservation of Art Made With Different Materials,» was presided over by by Antonio Paolucci, director of the Vatican Museums.
It was divided into three sessions, with the first focusing on «a glimpse of the East.» The second considered prehistoric artifacts, and restoration experiences in Mexico and Yemen.
The third considered communication and research and, among other themes, a database for California Native American featherwork.
