At the end of today’s General Audience, Pope Francis gave a warning: “To come here is free.”
The Holy Father explained that there are tickets to attend the Audience. And written on these tickets in six languages, he said, showing one to those present, are words stating that the ticket is free.
In this context, he warned that there are “crafty” individuals that make people pay for the tickets.
“To do this is swindling,” stressed Pope Francis. Here, he said, one comes without paying because it is “everyone’s home.”
