‘May you be a sign of Christian hope in the midst of your communities.’
This was Pope Francis’ invitation to English speakers during his General Audience on August 30, 2017.
After his weekly catechesis in Saint Peter’s Square, the Pope welcomed the English-speaking pilgrims, particularly those from Malta, Guinea, the Philippines and Canada.
«May God bless you all!» He concluded in Italian before being translated into English by a collaborator.
