Here is a ZENIT translation of the address Pope Francis gave today, before praying the midday Regina Coeli with those gathered in St. Peter’s Square.

Before the Regina Coeli:
Dear Brothers and Sisters,
Held yesterday in Krakow was a thanksgiving celebration to confirm devotion to Blessed Michael Giedroyc, in which Bishops of Poland and Lithuania took part. May this event encourage Poles and Lithuanians to strengthen theirfeature2 bonds in the sign of faith and of the veneration of Blessed Michael, model of evangelical humility and charity, who lived in Krakow in the 15th century.
The news reaching us these days from Sudan causes grief and preoccupation. Let us pray for these people, may violence cease and the common good be sought in dialogue.
I greet you all, pilgrims from Italy and from many parts of the world, who took part in this celebration: the groups, Associations and individual faithful. I encourage you all to open yourselves with docility to the action of the Holy Spirit, offering to the world, in the variety of charisms, the image of a fraternity in communion.
May the Virgin Mary, to whose maternal intercession we entrust ourselves with filial trust, obtain this grace for us.
