(ZENIT News / Rome, 22.08.2022).- The 6th General Chapter of the Schöenstatt Fathers’ Secular Institute, meeting since August 3, 2022, elected the Community’s new General Directorate for the next six years. They will take possession of their offices immediately and are:
Father Alexandre Awi Mello (Brazil) [Superior General]
Father Ignacio Camacho (Chile) [First Counsellor]
Father Francisco da Cruz Sobral (Portugal) [General Manager of the Free Communities]
Father Joy Puthussery (India) [Counsellor]
Father Arkadiusz Sosna (Poland) [Counsellor]
The new Superior General, Father, who has been the Secretary of the Dicastery for the Laity, Family and Life since 2017, will continue in his present post over the next few months.
