On January 31, 2018, Pope Francis greeted an “exemplary educator,” for the Liturgical Memorial of Don Bosco (1815-1888), founder of the Salesians.
Addressing young people, the sick and newlyweds, at the end of today’s General Audience in St. Peter’s Square, the Pope evoked the feast of the Italian Saint, “father and teacher of youth.”
“Dear young people, look to him as an exemplary educator.”
“You, dear sick, following his example, always have confidence in Christ crucified. And you, dear newlyweds, take recourse to his intercession to assume your conjugal mission with generous commitment.”
