VATICAN CITY, FEB. 29, 2012 (Zenit.org).- Benedict XVI will be praying this month that the contribution of women will be justly recognized, and for the perseverance of those who suffer for their faith.

The Apostleship of Prayer announced the intentions chosen by the Pope for March.

His general intention is «that the whole world may recognize the contribution of women to the development of society.»

And the Pontiff’s mission intention is «that the Holy Spirit may grant perseverance to those who suffer discrimination, persecution, or death for the name of Christ, particularly in Asia.»
