The archdiocese was one of a number of institutions honored during a ceremony presided over today by Esperanza Aguirre, president of the Community of Madrid, a Spanish autonomous region, in the Royal Post Office House.
The Community of Madrid thus rendered homage «to all the public services that worked and collaborated in the relief, care and rescue of the victims of the brutal terrorist attack of last March 11.»
