The Sanctuary of Our Lady of Jasna Gora Mother of Life was inaugurated by Cardinal Kazimierz Nycz on Sunday, December 8, in Warsaw, in the Pauline church, where the “Spiritual Adoption” was initiated in 1987. It will be a place of expiation for sins against life.

“We want mothers to come to this sanctuary, we want fathers to make a deep reflection, who, like St. Joseph, have a sacred duty to stand by their wives, in the womb of whom the life has been conceived,” said Cardinal Nycz in the homily.

In his homily, the metropolitan of Warsaw stressed that concern for the protection of life should be associated with prayer for this intention and action. And it has been happening for years in the Pauline church, where the work of spiritual adoption of a conceived child was initiated in 1987. Since then 19,000 declarations of spiritual adoption have been made in this one center only.
