Vatican Publishes Second Volume of Pope's Morning Homilies

The Vatican publishing house, Libreria Editrice Vaticana, has today published a second volume of Pope Francis’ morning homilies.

Titled “Omelie del mattino”, this latest volume comprises Pope Francis’ reflections on the day’s readings at his morning Masses in the Vatican’s Domus Sanctae Marthae from Sept. 2nd 2013 to Jan. 31st 2014.

It is currently available only in Italian but an English translation is expected. The English edition of the first volume is available through the US Conference of Catholic Bishops.

The new volume forms part of a series of six works under the umbrella title “The Words of Pope Francis”. The various works are called: “I ask you to pray for me,” “Do not steal hope”, “The joy of evangelizing, “It’s good for us to be here,” “Morning homilies 1”, and “Walk along the paths of peace.”
