Australian Firm Reportedly Creates Man-Pig Hybrid

According to Monday´s issue of the Daily Telegraph, the experiment was carried out in 1999 by the biogenetic firm Stem Cell Sciences Pty Ltd.

The Australian Office of the Gene Technology Regulator denied that the experiment had anything to do with cloning. Rather, it said, it was an attempt to produce a "human hybrid." The office said the government will not investigate the case.
