VATICAN CITY, DEC. 8, 2000 (Zenit.org).-

For anyone who has had trouble finding Vatican documents or books by top Church theologians and experts, a solution has arrived.

The Vatican Bookstore is now on Internet.

At http://www.vaticanbookstore.com/r/z/1browsers can buy book and also choose products that until now could only be purchased in Rome, including stylish videos of John Paul II´s pontificate, sacred music CDs, CD-ROMs depicting the treasures of the Vatican Museums, posters, Vatican coins and slides.

The site works like a typical Internet bookstore. Payment can be made with a credit card, and purchases can be delivered to any corner of the globe. The system will enable shoppers to track where their purchase is, from the time it leaves the Vatican.

The Vatican Bookstore uses the latest technology. It is the first European publishing house to offer books in «Book» format.

The store also offers gifts. On the Web page, browsers can download screensavers, as well as music and original documents in a variety of languages.
