Mass in Moscow Held for Madrid Victims

MOSCOW, MARCH 18, 2004 (Zenit.org).- More than 600 people gathered at the Catholic Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Moscow, to remember the victims of the March 11 terrorist attacks in Madrid.

Agence France-Presse reported that, among those attending the Mass on Wednesday, were Spaniards and Russian Orthodox who expressed their compassion for the victims.

Archbishop Tadeusz Kondrusiewicz, who presided at the Mass, asked those present to pray for «all the victims of terrorism, in Spain, in Europe and in Russia.»
