An English translation of the Roman Missal itself might be published in 2007. The conference decided to go ahead with its translation of the General Instruction now, because of its importance as a teaching document for the Church.

The conference also plans to publish two other liturgical documents.

One is «Celebrating the Mass,» a pastoral guide intended in part to be a companion to the General Instruction.

The other is «With Hearts and Minds,» a resource for small groups produced by the Liturgy Office of the bishops’ conference. It is intended to assist participants to a deeper appreciation of the nature and role of the liturgy in the life of the Christian community.
