The Congregation for Clergy is organizing the videoconference, a monthly event that brings together theologians from around the world.

The conference may be followed live, starting at noon, Rome time, at www.clerus.org. The theologians’ original texts will be posted there at a later date.

Internet users need Real Player on their computers to follow the conference. The Congregation for Clergy’s Web page gives the link to download it.

Among the theologians who will participate in the videoconference is Archbishop Bruno Forte, 56, a member of the International Theological Commission and a synodal father. He will speak from Rome on «The Eucharist and the Church: What Is the Situation 40 Years after the Second Vatican Council?»

Bishop Gerhard Ludwig Müller, who also attended the synod, will speak from Regensburg, Germany, on «The Sacredness of the Eucharistic Celebration.»
