The article brought tears to my eyes. […] I am a great fan of JPII. How simple he was!

Imagine, he did not know they were crying because of him. I guess it is a sign of holiness; the same thing happened over and over again, in all continents, people could not help themselves. People cried like babies. I met him in 1980 and in 2002, and it was the same story. I also saw him when he came to Nigeria.

I can only continue to thank God for the «great gift» of a man from a distant land.
