Thank you for writing this article. Anti-Catholicism is deeply embedded in American society, and with the rise of the secular age has become more so.

As I have experienced in the workplace; you can put up a picture of seminude people in your cube and just about anything else, put up a small, wallet-size picture of Pope Benedict or anything else remotely Catholic and people will stop talking to you and management will make it abundantly clear they are not happy with you.

To paraphrase Pope Benedict in his book, Jesus of Nazareth, God is ok as long as he does not interfere with our essential purposes.

Vatican Clarification on Delay of Anglican Provision
