«Grant them the strength to serve you, our country and the Commonwealth with integrity and faithfulness. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.»

Anglican Archbishop of Canterbury Rowan Williams will preside at the April 29 nuptials in Westminster Abbey between the 28-year-old prince and Middleton, 29. The day has been declared a bank holiday in the United Kingdom.

The Abbey has been the setting for numerous weddings, coronations and funerals, including the funeral of Princess Diana, who was Prince William’s mother.

Some two billion people worldwide are expected to watch the wedding on television, with some 1,900 family and friends allowed inside the Abbey. More than 140 broadcast trucks are expect to converge at Westminster Abbey representing news agencies from around the world, with more setting up along the procession route.
