«Every stranger that knocks at our door is an opportunity to meet Jesus Christ.»
That was the Tweet Pope Francis sent on December 18, 2017, from Pope Francis @Pontifex.  The Holy Father has been consistent in calling for help to «strangers» in need.
Calling on people everywhere to reach out to migrants, Pope Francis launched Caritas Internationalis’ ‘Share the Journey’ migration campaign in Rome on Wednesday, September 27, 2017.
Pope Francis said September 22, 2017, that the Church must offer “maternal love” to migrants and refugees and that helping them was a “privileged occasion to proclaim Jesus Christ.” His comments came in an address to the participants in the meeting promoted by the Council of European Bishops’ Conferences (CCEE).
“The Church’s maternal love for these brothers and sisters of ours calls for manifesting itself concretely in all the phases of the migratory experience, from the start of the trip, from the arrival to the return, so that all the ecclesial realities situated along the trajectory are protagonists of the one mission, each according to its possibilities,” Francis said.
Twitter account Pope Francis @Pontifex has reached more than 40 million subscribers, announced the Vatican Secretariat for Communication on October 11, 2017. The Holy Father’s Tweets are issued in nine languages – about a third of the followers are English speakers.
In addition, Instagram @Francis — opened March 19, 2016 – has nearly five million followers.
