The result is a selection of the 30 most fascinating churches, which are not only striking for their beauty, but also for leaving a profound imprint in visitors’ cultural and spiritual sphere.
Especially during the Christmas period, these splendid churches offered a unique framework to live the most significant moments of the celebrations, be it a Solemn Midnight Mass, a representation of the Nativity or the New Year’s Eve service. According to Istat, one out of every five Italians attends the Christmas Mass, which converts these churches during the celebrations not only into places of contemplation, but also of communion and coexistence.
