«The Pope followed very attentively all that I explained to him about the Archdiocese of Tarragona,» Archbishop Jaume Pujol Balcells of Spain told ZENIT today following his audience with the Pope.

«He smiled when I told him that every now and then I make excursions to the mountains with the seminarians and I remember him,» added the prelate, 61, from the region of Catalonia. He said the Holy Father «was very attentive.»

Before meeting with Archbishop Pujol, the Pope had received five other Spanish bishops.
