I love his story and what he is doing now. And I love his appreciation for women who support the priest in his work and in his life as a servant of Christ. He likened us to Mary Magdalene and her ministry to assist Christ as He went about his teaching and in His suffering. She was there for Him, as He had first been there for her.
The gift of the priesthood reaches out to a hostile world, where even though a man is persecuted, he is loved and supported and prayed for. We are grateful for our priests, no matter what. They bring Jesus Christ to us in the Blessed Sacrament and we cannot be without Him.
