An exhortation: dedicate a minute to peace, everyone ….
Pope Francis at the end of today’s General Audience, where he reflected on his May 31-June 2, 2019, Apostolic Trip to Romania, which ZENIT French journalist Anne Kurian followed from the Papal Flight, Francis made this appeal.
“Saturday, June 8,” Francis recalled, “will be the fifth anniversary of the meeting of the Israel and Palestinian Presidents with me and Patriarch Bartholomew here in the Vatican,” where they prayed in the Vatican Gardens in 2014 for peace.
“At 1 p.m.,” the Holy Father continued, “we are invited to dedicate ‘a minute to peace’ – of prayer, for believers, of reflection, for those who do not believe…: all together for a more fraternal world.”
“International Catholic Action promotes this initiative,” he said.
