VATICAN CITY, JULY 31, 2012 (Zenit.org).- Benedict XVI will be praying this month for young people and their apostolic zeal in proclaiming Christ.
The Apostleship of Prayer announced the intentions chosen by the Pope for August.
His mission intention is “that young people, called to follow Christ, may be willing to proclaim and bear witness to the Gospel to the ends of the earth.”
And the Pontiff’s general intention focuses on prisoners: “that prisoners may be treated with justice and respect for their human dignity.”
