The Apostleship of Prayer has published the prayer intention chosen by Pope Francis for February 2017.
It says: “That all those who are afflicted, especially the poor, refugees, and marginalized, may find welcome and comfort in our communities.”
As announced at the end of December 2016, Pope Francis has changed the existing practice and presents only one prepared prayer intention per month.
The Pope will add however a second, urgent intention, that he will announce during his Angelus Address on the first Sunday of every month. (pdm)
