States, Germany, and Spain will assist in the reconstruction of 400 churches
in El Salvador, damaged or destroyed in last January´s and February´s
earthquakes, Archbishop Fernando Saenz Lacalle of San Salvador disclosed
yesterday to the press. The Archbishop said the assistance was obtained after
the Archdiocese organized separate meetings with the Episcopates of the 3
countries.
