Vince Carroll was right on the mark with his comment. Jacques Dumon was far too subjective. Having confessed in the Seoul Myong Dong Cathedral every Thursday for 20 years, I know that some people like to be anonymous but most want to meet with a confessor who would understand their predicament and would be there for them week after week. One young person thanked me profusely for being allowed to confess to a person and not a wall!
