That we are witnessing this year the opening of full diplomatic relations between the Holy See and Russia is a miracle of the century, nurtured by faith, endurance and love. I believe this opens a door of blessings for Russia, and it is an affirmation of the goodwill and good services of the Holy See in the world. May God bless the two nations, especially their leaders, with peace and holiness.
