The missal will be available in two editions for the celebration of Mass: The Altar edition and the Chapel edition. This latter version is smaller and more versatile.
Both editions will be printed on fine paper and feature four-color artwork from the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, D.C..
The new missal will go into use on Nov. 27, the First Sunday of Advent.
