Bishop Kevin Dowling of Rustenburg, South Africa, will celebrate Mass this Sunday at Westminster Cathedral, in observance of World Mission Sunday.
Bishop Dowling, 69, is renowned for his efforts to fight apartheid.
The prelate now works with orphans in the platinum mine communities in Rustenburg.
He will be visiting schools and sharing his experiences of missionary outreach.
