“We – she said to ZENIT – are convinced that Beauty will save the world and for that we created a place where we are able to favor the language of the soul, with music, dance, poetry, song, literature, spirituality, good food and a lot of friends to share it. All surrounded by beautiful artistic and architectural works.»
The Festival – founded by Pegoraro, who is also the art director – proposes shows of internationally acclaimed artists, with the backdrop of medieval architectural beauties of the city of Narni. There is also an educational component, provided by the Campus Internazionale di Alto Perfezionamento Artistico which has over 200 young artists participating every year from the most important universities from all over the world, such as The Juilliard School of New York, the conservatory Tchaikovsky of Moscow, the Mozarteum of Salisubrg, and the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia of Rome.
“The mission of our lovely Italy and our people that represent it – underlined Pegoraro – is that of bringing beauty and joy in the entire world. A mission today more than necessary, because we have to transmit to the new generations the joy and the hope that light their minds, and their hearts.»
It’s a great occasion also because the 2016 edition of the Narnia Festival happens during the Jubilee of Mercy.
“The Narnia festival – concluded Pegoraro – is a place where beauty becomes a universal language to unite different cultures, religions, social conditions, together to build a new humanism and a better world”.
