Recalling that just about a year ago the World Youth Day was taking place in Krakow, Pope Francis told Polish pilgrims present at the General Audience, yesterday, Aug. 2, 2017, in the Vatican’s Paul VI Hall to be «watchmen of hope for generations to come.”
Recalling the enthusiasm of the young people, the Holy Father stressed: “I greet warmly the Polish pilgrims.
«I thank the Lord for the young people’s enthusiastic faith, which the Holy Spirit inspired those days and continues to strengthen in their hearts. May they be watchmen of hope for generations to come!”
The Holy Father expressed his gratitude for their lively faith, ahead of the 2018 Synod for Young People, and the 2019 WYD in Panama.
