This morning before going to Rome’s famous Campidoglio, or City Hall, he made a detour…
The Argentine Pontiff made a surprise stop at Rome’s Pontifical Lateran University, taking off guard students and faculty. The university’s first two classes of the day had been cancelled for a Lenten meditation. Little had they expected, they would be given by the Holy Father.
